ARTIST NOTES:

Having another go at animating with After Effects. Had some fun with this one even though it took me a good while to animate all the little details. Pretty big learning experience with this one since this is far more of a cinematic than a simple loop like my "Helmet Breaker" animation.

The opening ink blot transition was made by filming a series where I dropped black ink onto saturated watercolor paper. It's then layered on top of the animation and changed to an alpha layer to reveal the scene where the ink should be.

Recorded a few of the ambient noises in the background myself. The quality on my mic wasn't cutting it so I ended up mixing a bunch of sounds between a BBC and Video Copilot package. I remixed sounds in tempo, pitch, and speed; layered them and balanced them between stereos. It should hopefully sound like the audio is jumping between stereos in tandem with the zombies.

Sorry that the file is a little big. I really wanted to keep everything close to its original size when I uploaded rather than be forced to compress the hell out of it.
