Finished "Executioner" statue. The clay is Black Mountain, super rich in iron and grog - good for rough textures, bad if you want to get flat smooth surfaces. Glaze is a combination of black iron oxide and a clear glaze. Watercolor and acrylics were applied later for that green discoloration. LED and some dry ice were included for the gallery opening.
