Description
Alright, some more practice here. These two are the first in a number of studies I’ll be doing. I’ll be redesigning a handful of characters where the race of each person is changed. Important as an exercise in drawing diversity, and the fact that POC representation in fantasy is mostly non-existant.

Nicely done. Though I must say that Faramirs armour has a rather dwarvish look, that is, the dwarvish style that was created by the movies. Rohirrim are based upon early medieval scandinavians - lammerlar, scale and mail armour woud seem a better choice, and when it comes to lammelar, it gives endless creative options since individual lamels can be painted and create a pattern or a symbol etc.
Needless to say though that your exercise won´t add diversity, more like tokenism. What kind of message is it supposed to send? That POC need to be inserted into european mythology based fantasy literature, because their respective continents have nothing of value to offer? I beg to differ.
